Script for a dating app

WHEN IN THE WILD DOESN’T WORK (FATE IS STILL FATE)

Opens with a guy and a girl at the club. They accidentally bump into each other and lock eyes: "instant connection". The guy is trying to get her number, but it's loud, crowded, and her drunk friend is pulling her away.

Cut to the girl yelling her number into his ears as he frantically tries to type it in his phone.

GIRL

(Yelling)

BOY

(Yelling back)

544678... what?

GIRL

(Yelling louder)

INT. TRAIN - DAY

The boy is on the train, he takes out his phone and tries to text the girl.

BLACK SCREEN:

SUPER: "Hey, it was nice meeting you the other night :)"

BACK TO SCENE:

The boy nervously presses send and looks up as he sighs. Suddenly his phone lights up, signaling he received a new text.

BLACK SCREEN:
SUPER: "Wrong number bro"

BACK TO SCENE:

The boy slams his head on the pole.

INT. BOY'S ROOM – NIGHT

Time has clearly passed, as the boy is sitting on his bed on his phone swiping.

He swipes fast through a few females, until a picture of the girl appears.

Ecstatic, he jumps out of bed and looks closer at his phone again.

BLACK SCREEN:

SUPER: “WHEN IN THE WILD DOESN’T WORK, TAKE THAT 0.00001% CHANCE TO SWIPE THEM. DON’T LET LIFE GET IN THE WAY OF FINDING THE ONE. FATE IS STILL FATE.”
